How Line & Parking Lot Striping Works

Striping in Edmonton is a pretty straight forward practice, depending upon the time of year. When Best Striping in Edmonton shows up at your location to stripe, the first thing we'll do it check the area. We need a clean workspace to work with. While striping is most often completed immediately after a parking lot has been surfaced or re-surfaced, we can easily stripe your location no matter the condition.

Best Weather Conditions for Striping

In addition, the weather needs to be paint-friendly, which means extra cold temperatures may make it difficult for use to complete the job. If it is winter in Edmonton, give us a call and we'll talk you through options of getting the job done. We're pretty flexible.

The parking lot needs to be dry. We can't paint in the rain or snow, or immediately before or after. Paint needs a certain amount of time to dry, and a dry surface is required to allow the paint to adhere to the surface.

Parking Lot Sizes for Striping

Best Striping in Edmonton can put line work down just about anywhere. We most often work on asphalt and concrete, but if you need something temporary across soil or gravel, we're all in. Just give us a call.

We can also do any job, large or small. Whether your lot is for four vehicles, or for the entire Canadian army (which is probably larger than you think), we've got the know-how and the skills to complete the job. Smaller jobs can be fit into our schedule really easily, but we may need a few days runway to complete a larger job.

And speaking of runways... we can do a whole lot more striping than just parking lots.

Striping & Linework

Once we get to work, we are very fast and efficient. Depending on the project, we may use some hand spray paint to make markings for measurements and to set up our grid. Once we have our dimensions down, we'll bring in the striper.

Drying Time

A certain amount of time is required for your new parking lot to dry. We can often schedule your striping to avoid as much disruption to your business as possible. Drying can take up to a day to complete, but in some cases we can have the process completed in a few hours. Give us a call and we'll happily talk you through the details.
